Gary Tole


Audio Engineer & Sound Designer for Film, TV, Location and Records. Gary started his recording career as an apprentice for Local 118 of I.A.T.S.E. as an assistant head sound as well training with Dave Slagter Chief Engineer of the Famous “Little Mountain Sound” In Vancouver. A few years later Gary turned to freelancing and worked with such illustrious artists as Brian Adams, Doug and the Slugs and The members of Loverboy. In 1998 after the Slow down in the local music scene Gary looked beyond to a career elsewhere in the world. After sending out 52 resumes around the world he landed up as Chief Engineer of Ochoa Recording and Post Production in San Juan Puerto Rico. At that time Gary Managed a large staff of talented Engineers and Producers as well he raised the Profile of the studio on the music side and gained a vast knowledge in TV and Radio Advertising working with such clients as Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy & Mather and McCann Erickson. After a year Gary decided to expand his career and moved to New York landing a job as a Staff Engineer at the world famous Hit Factory in 1990. Since his move Gary has had an illustrious Career Recording and Mixing for such Notables as Nile Rodgers, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Gavin Degraw, B-52’s, and many others. Gary is also been active working as a Location and Post Mix Engineer for TV and Film working with clients like HBO, VH1, Food Network, HGTV, Columbia Pictures and Westchester’s  DEG Productions to name a few.
